In the new Newsweek, the "Periscope" column reports that "Jack Daniel's is proud to celebrate 150 years. What it doesn't talk about much is its cheaper, lower-proof Green Label whiskey. It's never been advertised and while it's popular in the South--especially 'around military bases,' says the company--it's tough to find up North. Norman Bukofzer at Fantino in NYC: 'It's like truffles.' And a cult following is born."
