At one point, the rumor (maybe I started it) was that they would continue to have a 100 proof offering, it just wouldn't be bonded, but what I saw yesterday at Binny's still says BIB on the label.

If you use "bond," "bonded," or "bottled-in-bond" as search terms, you should find plenty.

To be called bottled-in-bond, a whiskey must be 100 proof, at least 4 years old, and be the product of a single distillery and a single distiller in a single season. I call it "single batch bourbon."

I have seen the threads discussing VOB BIB going away, however I see it very often and have picked up several bottles recently all still saying BIB. Matter of fact, I have never seen a VOB 100 proof that was not BIB. I could live if it were not bonded as long as I can get it at 100 proof.

I'm horrible at recalling prices but its inexpensive... maybe $15... maybe less.

I think I'll pour a little right now while I'm thinking about it!
