This kind of thing should be on the top of your list of "things to do" while visiting Kentucky. The bummed out, suck part, is the over inflated price is just "out of range" for the average Joe 100-150 bucks for a tour is just out of range. But...they know that this part of the industry has always been "private". I've gotten several folks tours though cooperages and let me tell ya...It's been frowned upon for years to let folks see what goes on there.

I'll assume that the "rest of the tour" will make good on your $100.00 worth of sightseeing?

I was amazed the first time I saw a "working cooperage" The rush was akin to the first day of work in the bottlinghouse I was awe-struck!
