I picked up a 50ml of Red Stagg the other day and I thought it was going to undrinkable.
For what it is, it ain't that bad.
After one sip I poured the rest in my bottle of diet Coke, it was OK, but I won't be revisiting it.

I think the suggested retail is $17.99. They seem to have priced it the same as Jim Beam Black.
I can see it (the Kid Rock connection), now that it's out there, but I didn't see it coming. I don't really mean to be derogatory about Kid Rock or Kid Rock fans, about which I am mostly ignorant.
What I've said about Red Stag all along is that if you drink whiskey neat and don't use sweet mixers or ever drink liqueurs, then I wouldn't expect you to like Red Stag, but for what it is--a four-year-old bourbon flavored with black cherry--it tastes pretty good. Although I mostly drink whiskey neat, I like a liqueur or sweet cocktail now and then, and I've always like black cherry as a flavor, so I was a soft touch.

I might just have to pick up a bottle. I mainly drink neat or Manhattans but I too like liqueurs and cocktails here and there, and this looks like an interesting cocktailian ingredient. I'll nab a couple minis first chance I get and take it for a spin....
Red Stag is 18.95 a bottle here. Right now, Beam is offering a 2.00 rebate for any single 750 or larger bottle purchase and higher rebates for multiple bottle purchases!
