Hi All,

I have been enjoying bourbon for many years and only in the last few years have I upgraded from Jim Beam; though I will still opt for JB when mixing.

I have sampled many a nice bottle and have found a particular taste for several different labels. My preferences in beers seem to lean toward those aged in whiskey casks (Heresy, Bourbon County Stout, Harviestoun, etc) so there is a trend towards this spirit.

I am also an avid cigar smoker of various cameroon and maduro bands. I think that outside of coffee, a good glass of whiskey is the perfect companion to a nice stogie.

I look forward to making friends and learning more.

Welcome to the forum, I also live in NJ and used to frequent Hoboken. Unfortunately, most bartenders in Hoboken think bourbon = Jack Daniels!?!?!?

Your beer tastes are nice another good bourbon aged beer is from Allagash although I forget the exact name right now.
