I would seriously entertain the idea of using some shaving cream or soap with whiskey in it, but I'm all about the lather. A shaving jelly just doesn't sound like it's a good match for my Dovo straight.

Well, it does contain glycerin, just like my Colonel Conk's Bayrum, so it may be a lathering gel...

Possibly true, but I saw no mention of lather on their website. I'd like to know if it builds the suds.
