    What is "NAS?" I also didn't see the thread. Thanks for posting that. There are too many abbreviations being tossed around here!
    If you have anything Michter's or Pennco and would like to sell it or share it with me, please let me know.

    Q: What's going on with Old Weller Antique?
    A: Nothing, it's just aother sub-par wheater. Since Buffalo Trace killed off Centennial there has been a great void in the world of wheaters.

    Also check out this thread for all the wacky abbreviations:

    NAS= No Age Statement

    Old Weller Antique is not a top-shelfer, but I think it more than holds its own against bourbon offerings in the same price range, wheater or no. But if you offered me a Weller 12 or Old Rip 10/107 in exchange for an OWA, even the age stated one, I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

    If you really want a sub-par wheater, check out any current Old Fitzgerald offerings other than the BiB.

    I think you can include the current BiB Old Fitz in that group of sub par wheaters, but that's just my opinion.

    Yep, I agree, from what I hear Parker just isn't interested in wheaters.

    Then HH should sell the brand off to someone who will do it right. As it is now it's an embarassment, worse than Michter's.

    I agree with -UA up there. It is an embarrassment. I understand things change, and I hate sounding like I'm on a "if it's not dusty it's crap!" rant... but turning one of the best bourbons from days past into one of the worst current productions is too far.

    I REALLY hate being negative with this stuff... and old weller (Matt's gold vein OWA) is superior to new OWA... however I still love new OWA. I wish OF BIB was the same... with the old being better but the new still being great juice. Sadly it's just not the case

    Oh man, you had to go and remind me of the Centennial. I sure miss that bourbon. That and OCPR have left a great hole in my heart
