I remember when HH bought Bernheim, one of the whiskey magazines had a feature story in which Parker Beam assured the reader that they would keep all the existing expressions of Old Fitz, including 1849 and VSOF. Apparently that was quite a concern at the time.

I'll have to dig through a couple of boxes and see if I kept the magazine. (I'm thinking it was Malt Advocate but not 100% sure.)
It sticks in my mind because Parker was quoted as saying they would keep the 1849 and Very Special Old Fitzgerald expressions, and that was the first time I had ever seen the word 'expressions' used for bottlings of whiskey.
