Bruichladdich The Sixteens Bourbon Cask Aged Single Malt (Scotland)

    http://www.refinedvices.com/bruichladdich-sixteens

I have not tried this but the review was interesting.

He uses a technique I have not encountered outside of a distillery tour:

"Rubbing some whisky between my hands brings out the aromas of the barrel it was matured in."

I guess most of us don't want to waste whisk(e)y but it is another way to create an aroma.

I tried the 1991 Yellow Submarine bottling by Bruichladdich recently, and it blew me away. I look forward to trying more from this distillery.
