I am looking for a Glenrothes 1974. This is the birth date of a buddy of mine and I am looking for a full bottle or an empty bottle… will buy both…
Please PM me or post if you know where I could find one… thanks y’all

Does it HAVE to be a Glenrothes or will any 1974 bottling do? I did a quick look and didn't see any available except one place in Germany at $560.
My bottle is still half full so I can't help with the empty but I will send you a sample if you want that. LMK.

He has this hard on for the Glenrothes... I have never had it, but he said it is the best Scotch he ever had.... Thank you for the sample, is there anything I can trade out with you for it?
I will PM you on what I have as far as opens go and I will get you to send me the link to the bottle you found.
Thank you
Emerald

Glenrothes is truly a great scotch. A unique taste with a cinnamon? finish. A worthy gift.
Bourbon- not just for breakfast anymore!
I've seen some 197? bottles around here, but am not sure if they're '74. It might be a bit far for you yo have a dusty hunt though Em!
I'm out and about on the weekend - I'll check some of the stores I pass if you like.
According to this Nov. 2003 piece http://www.travelandleisure.com/arti...single-malts/1
"Although the Glenrothes 1974 is limited in number, there's
no need to push or trample. With three thousand bottles
available in the States, everyone who desires a taste should
get one. (And you will desire one.)"
