You were busy this past year! Very nice.

Thanks. I'm not the photographer you are, Yeti, could probably have arrayed them so one could better tell exactly what I've got there. But I'm fairly proud of what I've been able to assemble (and taste) over the last year once this hobby kicked itself into high gear.

Figured it was bout time that I put something in this thread.

got the shelf up yesterday and loaded with the lose items and some others that I had in a previous storage solution. Thankfully, the misses likes this better. I do too!

Currently this only holds about half the current bunker. The next set will be harder to post. But till then, some eye candy for you all.

Nice stash and I see you have your priorities in order on what to bunker in numbers.

I concur. Some really good and similar taste there BF.
I've never tried GTS with any sort of soda. Maybe I'm missing out; but I'm OK with that.

I always cringe a bit when I see these kinds of shelves covered with nice collections but I haven't read anything about any recent catastophies so I suppose my fears are largely unfounded. Then again I am a klutz so I could see myself bumping into the shelf and then watching in horror as a dozen bottles plunge to the cold, cruel, concrete floor! Although I wouldn't have an open shelf system like this out on the west coast. And even here I tied the shelves to the studs behind them.

I use what looks to be the same brand of shelf system (Metro?) but elected to use the "basket" shelves instead of flat shelves. Cut some thin particle board to create a flat bottom and it seems to work well. Only the bottom shelf is flat for storing boxes and such. I now have three of these and still haven't caught up to the overflow yet.

This is an old and rather blurry picture of one of the shelves.

I like the basket version, I can see where that is quite a bit more secure. While we use Metro(brand) carts quite a bit at work, I option for the slightly less expensive but yet still sturdy Costco version. For $90+tax out the door, it was a bargain.

This weekend I'm planning on getting some of the flat mats that go on the shelves to help with bottle stability, although I was pretty surprised at how stabile this are now.

They are a god solution to pack quite a bit in to a relatively small footprint. Especially for the weight involved.

I take it you enjoy EC18! Very nice to have those bunkered,if I had that many of those I'd be making them my solitary pour for a week or so.I got one waiting in the shadows for the right time, which is always.Hope they come out with some more of that soon.
