I am currently in Canada and found something of interest to me. It is a Bushmills 1608 Single Cask, Bourbon Barrel, Unchill Filtered, 56.5 proof distilled in 1989. There was also a Sherry Cask version. The front label says...."Selected Especially for Canada". It looks like a new release to me, ie not dusty, so it might be of some age distilled in 1989. An irish whiskey at 113 proof sounds good to me. I'm bringing it back to Houston and will post my impressions once I give it a try.
