I've had perhaps ten of these. I love that edition. I'm not sure if that was my last one or not. I can't quite bear to look.

But the beautiful thing about the chest whose contents I don't check very often, there's probably also something wonderful in there that I forgot I have.

It's been a bloodbath this week. Laid down some greats, WLW 2007, Binny's Weller 12, EWSB 2000 and the 4R 2009 SBBS is getting dangerously low.

I get so depressed about finishing these bottles that I feel like I need a drink, but that just makes the problem worse.

I'm trying to follow Oscars lead and get rid of the some of the 40+ open bottles that I have before I open anything new. A Weller SR hit the recycle bin along with a Singleton 12yr SM. THe Weller SR will not be replaced as I thought it was pretty boring.

That 1994 happens to be my wife's favorite bourbon. We have one bottle, about 60% full. It only gets tapped occasionally.

If the Saints win today, that will probably happen (she's a NO native).

Finished Jim Beam Black, Rittenhouse Rye BIB, and a 375ml of Knob Creek. That helps justify recent purchases to replenish: Bernheim Original, Jim Beam Distiller's Series (7 yr, 90 proof), and Old Forester Repeal (on sale for $20 - 375ml, plus Signature is NOT available around here).

Saw JDPS on sale for $30 (from $50), is that a good price? This doesn't have an age statement (used to say 15 on the neck of the bottles). Any more info?
