Empty Bottle Support Group Winter 2009-10

Emptied a bottle of Willet 5yr 121.8 proof that was selected by Mr Gonano. Gone after 2 sessions with my dad. SOME GREAT STUFF! Celebrated both Xmas & New Years with it, along with some others.

Parker 1st Gen died tonight... Might be the longest open I have had. I kept cutting it down into smaller bottles to save it.... fortunately my good buddy Erich scored me 2 more bottles

Bottle of EW1783 finally died off. Not too sad as it's a mediocre bourbon at best to me.

Killed off a 2008 Julio's RHF Series II last night -- I went back and forth on this bottle, but in the end decided I really liked it -- just in time for it to be long gone.

I'm going to save the awesome bottle, though and put something else in it (probably Julio's BT as I bought a 1.75) -- I like having it out on the counter or kitchen table -- it's kinda elegant.

Killed off an RHF myself. Funny how we both had the same reaction (going back and forth on it). In the end, I too really like it. It has a lot going for it in proof & flavor. Put a 1/4 pour of WRMCSO to give it some age (or season for that matter) and it really hits the spot. Its mildly overpriced though.

Also killed off a WT101. One of the best values on the market.
