how many bottles of Bourbon a month do you drink?

I was trying to figure this one out last night for a swag of how many years of stock of bourbon I have.

With a quick, 1 per month I had 40 years worth of bourbon, but that seemed low... The 1 per month that is.

I pretty much only drink bourbon now days due to my travel again, so at 2 oz per night average, that is 60 oz per month and 2.2 bottles a month.

I do not always have 2 oz and I do not drink every night, but close the last year.

Anyhow, I am going to say I go through 2-3 a month, and I plan on mapping it a while to see...

As a matter of fact I to am on a mapping of what I drink.
When I finish with what's open now (11 bottles, they are all real low) I am going to do a thorough inventory and drink everything that I have of 2 bottles or more.
Then at the end of the year compare it, with any additions, to what is left.
Also as I have stated elsewhere, my goal this year is to buy as little as possible.

Thanx 4 the offer but I'm feelin' pretty good about myself, it is now day 6 of the new year and I ain't bought any bourbon.

Great job! It may not be easy but I know its worth it in the long run.

Congrats on the not smoking thing... it's not easy but after a few months cigarettes made me sick. I had one after quitting and almost threw up, tasted awful. Did wonders for being able to breath and such as well!

How many bottles a month... hard to say. I would say 1-2? 2 oz a day on the high end, lots of days I have .5 oz or 1oz... others I have 3. Really depends.

Hmmm, 12 in 6 days, you are on track to buy 730 bottles this year.
Bring up a couple of cases of your favorites this summer, (I still remember your goal).

I'm guessing I consume 1-2 full bottles per month but you can add another bottle or two if there's a special occasion or holiday in a given month.
