I saw a few of these the other day for around $20, but I didn't pick them up when I noticed they were only 375ml. Is the juice the same as regular Old Forrester?

The whiskey selected for the Repeal bottles was not standard OF. "Repeal Bourbon is bottled from a special selection of Old Forester barrels that exhibited a more robust character that is similar to the Old Forester that was bottled during Prohibition," said Chris Morris at the time. It's also 100 proof.

Thanks for the info Chuck. I think I might grab one of them. Could be interesting to try an OF with a "similar" profile to a prohibition bottling. Joe's notes of an acetone smell in the SB.com link kind of scares me off a bit, but if I don't like it then hey, free Glencairn right?
For $15, I think you'll do okay.

Unfortunately, I have not seen one of these under $25-30 down here. Even with the glass, will likely pass on it for a 375ml at that cost....can't be that special.
