Got a bottle of this on sale today while in Florida!

Saw a bottle of this yesterday at one of my regular stores. Without knowing anything about it my thoughts were Rock Hill bottle and Blanton stopper. The information on the carton stated the whisky was selected from a stock of 200,000 aging barrels but is fuzzy over whether the barrels were bottled singly or mingled, recasked, then bottled from single barrels. The label clearly states Sazarac but I didn't see BT mentioned.

Anyway, while firmly standing on my convictions, I refuse to pay for a fancy stoppered bottle that will be tossed when empty.

It was sitting on the shelf right next to the new Collingwood which is also a snazzy bottle.

This is available here now, I'd like to have some information on it before buying.

Gary, next time you see it read the descriptive information on the carton. I'd like to get your take on what they are actually (or not) saying.

Okay will do. I might pick it up, I'm in a phase where I've bought a fair amount in the last months and thought I'd concentrate on what I have (plus I have a lot of my own vattings), but one more won't hurt!
