    Hannisville Rye

I came across a website that has a "Cache" of Hannisville Rye
(and whiskey & gin) believed to be distilled in 1863:

    Finest & Rarest

    with "
Tasting notes on the rye, from Dave Hughes, acclaimed author
and internationally respected wine and spirits judge for over 30 years"

Since they're going to offer 200 ml bottles for sale, I wasn't sure
whether to post in the Rye, History, or Good Deals sections.

Wow, $1/ml is a little too rich for my blood.

The tasting notes sound delicious but I cannot fathom some of the
    descriptors:

"Hints of old honey from a bushveld hive,...."

    Really?

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bushveld

So, honey from a South African veld.

    http://www.honeybadger.co.za/sabj_7401.htm

"The Aloe produces a pale, very light coloured, smooth honey."
