I had the last couple of pours of a bottle of VOB BIB last night. I only wish this was more readily available in the DC area, but luckily I had a friend bring a few back from Chicago with him earlier this summer.

Never ask a man if he is from Virginia. If he is, he'll tell you. If he isn't, you don't want to embarass him.
Finished a bottle of Weller Antique and Templeton Rye over the weekend. Enjoyed them both!
Said goodbye to a Ritt BIB, always a good pour, at an excellent price. Also finished a 2000 EWSB, a Bourbon Street Wine & Spirits barrel (don't know if it was selected by or for them). This bottle just got better as it went along (opened about 6 weeks ago). Now there's some room on the shelf to open up a couple more. I think Henry McKenna SB-BIB is calling my name.

Just finished an excellent bottle of OWA. I'll need to add a few of those to the bunker before they disappear.
"Brownest of the brown liquors..so tempting. What's that? You want me to drink you? But I'm in the middle of a trial!" L. Hutz
Yesterday finished a bottle of EWSB 1994 (thanks again Tony).
The really tragic thing about this is that my wife drank about two thirds of it.![]()

Just polished off a pint bottle of Old Crow from the 70's.... quite a different bourbon world back then. 80 proof and delicious....

Polished off a Weller 12.. (went down SOOOO easy !!!)
and a Hancocks Reserve Liquor Barn SB. I have been drinking this one 50/50 with GTS. One of the best whiskies I've had. lots of Maple syrup. I may have to go buy another bottle just to mix it !!!!![]()

Reality is an illusion created by a lack of alcohol.
Clearing out the open bottles to make room for the 2010 BTAC, so out goes a WLW '09, a Lot B and a PVW 15. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

I am approaching the last pours of my Wild Turkey Tribute. I post this prior to it being 100% gone because this bottle was THAT GOOD.
There is no more to be found of this classic whiskey for me. If I were ever fortunate enough to taste it again, I would know that somewhere, somehow, I must have done something right.
I will let you all know when it is finished. The sound of sobs will be evident from SoCal.
