Thedford Bourbon

Saw a bottle of this on the shelf recently, which is odd given that I had thought it was discontinued several years ago (and these turned up new at a place I go to frequently - not something that had been on the shelf for years). Anyone had it or think it's worth having?

Thedford Colonial Style, just let it stay on the shelf, very mediocre at best.
I paid 50 bucks for mine and I'd put it in the bottom shelf catagory, however it's a great looking bottle with the back panel picture and a great story that's total bull.

Did you get the Thedford at the Wine Barrel on Plymouth in Livonia? They had two in there for years and I near bite. I think at least one is gone.

My brother in law got me one in NH sevearal years ago for 29.99. It isnt bad whiskey but not the best I ever had either!

Nope, got it at a store in Dexter called Baxter's, I-94 & Zeeb Rd about 4 or 5 years ago.

They cleared this out of Va. years back.... not good then. Have not seen a bottle anywhere for years. Who made this stuff?

My bottle of Thedford says it was bottled for Joshua Thedford & Sons Louisville, KY and bottled by US Distilled Products Co. Princeton, MN. This stuff is basically another non distiller bottled brand!

A few of us had Thedford pours at Poison Girl in Houston back in May. Everyone thought it was damn good.

I have an old bottle that I remember wasn't too good, but that was a long time ago. I also thought it was no longer being made. Gotta dig and find that bottle sometime.

I still like to gather the family together once a year to tell the legend of old Josiah Thedford. It is especially uplifting for the children.
