A little RITT BIB with some football.
This bottle is nice and spicy and I'm not getting any of the green apple I got from previous purchases.

Yeah, green apple isn't bad but my suspect memory is telling me that the green apple bottlings were not as spicy as this one is.
Right now, I'm liking the spice more than the extra dimension of the flavor.

No green apple in the bottle that I am currently sipping from. I have however caught that taste in Ritt before.

I tend to find that sweet grannie smith apple flavor in the EC18..... some that I find to be the better ones...

WT 12 export before dinner and Pappy 15 with the hazelnut cake for dessert and as a nightcap. It was the last out of the Pappy and it was barely ok and not more than that. This brand has been out of the scene for a wile, but come back at a very higher price recently. I will not replace this bottle at that price.

I opened up my 4R1B Cork 'N Bottle selection #13, a very good choice by Brian.
Not as sweet as the McScrooges selection but head and shoulders above other 1B.

What he said. Bottle #1 of 100 for what it's worth.
I've gone thru at least one of those C & B bottles too Oscar and they are just as you describe. I think I might even prefer that drier C & B over the sweeter McScrooge's, but both are great, "push-your-mother-down-the-stairs-for-a-bottle" kinda whiskeys.

Last night I saw Rush in concert with my best friend from elementary/junior high school (we first met around 1968, and just reconnected last weekend after not seeing each other since 1978). We were drinking dusty OWA, and I also had a vatting of Pappy 15 and ORVW 10/107 in a flask. A great time!
