If you could only drink the products of one distillery for the rest of your life, which distillery would you choose?
I'd say you could choose from distilleries that no longer produce, but I'm afraid that everyone would say S-W...
My choice is Four Roses. Their bourbons are at once singular and distinctive, and there's something honest and simple about the transparency with their recipes. Other distilleries make brands out of mash and barrel placement; with FR, the name of the distillery is the name of the brand, and I like that.
And so many of the favors I find in their bourbons are just out of this world.
