Nice find Ryan the only ND OGD's I have are all 86 proof good find on a BIB. Open that puppy up and have a pour your going to love it!

IMO Paul the ND OGD 86 from 1989 that I have open is better then the OGD BIB from the same year. The 86 has better mouth feel and is just filled with creamy butterscotch. The BIB has a much higher rye taste and is a bit hot for a 100 proofer IMO. I'm extremely happy when I find ND OGD 86's as I haven't had one yet that I didn't think was a fantastic bourbon! I used to pass them up when I saw them...now they find a home in either mine or my buddies bunker.

Thanks - that's good to know. I would have tended to gravitate toward the 100.

The OGD BIB that I currently have open was hot when first opened but it settled down after being opened and now the heat plays a minor roll. It's one of my current fav pours.

You know, I wondered about this...if letting it breathe wouldn't cool things down a notch, alcohol being so volatile. Thanks.
