I started off with cigarnv's selection of 4R OBSK for Paws & Claws-Pours For Pets.
Just another great one, as long as Jim barrels it we'll drink it.
Followed by a glass rinse of 2010 Stagg.
Need a new bottle so I dug a WLW Centennial out of the bunker also a WT Rare Breed as long as I was down in the hole.
A fresh snifter for the Cen-ten,... and it made me realize why BT pulled this off the shelf.
Why sell it for $35 when we can get $70 and a truck load of buzz on top of it.

Grilled some pork steak over hedge earlier today for lunch. Slathered 'em with some BBQ sauce I doctored up with Booker's and ate 'em with a few pours of Maker's 46.

Alternating between the A. Bowman SB rye and some 15 yo ETL.... sometimes extreme contrast is interesting. May switch to a third pour when the WI NCAA game comes one....

Grand Dad BIB over ice with water.
2 fingers of Stagg '10 with 2 ice cubes. I took a nip from before the ice went in and then at intervals until it was probably 80 proof or less. A good whiskey that is growing on me, but I'm. Still not in love.

Closed my eyes and reached into the bunker (a sometimes dark and forbidding place) and pulled out a 2010 ER 17. A very nice selection.
Makes me wish I had one of those remote-control claw arms that you can use to try to snare a stuffed animal from the vending machine in the lobby of Perkins....
Sorry about the free association; but it has been one of those days.

I found an open OCPR slope while putting the bunker up today, so I'm enjoying a pour while waiting for the super moon to show up for its photo op.

I grossed over eight thousand dollars in one night. Time of your life, huh kid?
I received my first bottle of GTS 2010 today, so I opened it up tonight. I cut it to 107 proof and took my first sip. There was more initial sweetness than I would have thought, but not in a bad way. I can tell there is some greatness here, but I think it needs to open up a bit. I can't wait to try this again in a couple of months after it's had a chance to get some air to it.
