A store by me has Evan Williams Single Barrel 2001 for $19.99.......is this a good buy? If so, good enough to stock up? or just good enough to buy an extra bottle?

That's a good price for EWSB. However the 2001 is a new release and not all reports are favorable. I would buy one and if you like it, buy more.

I saw that today, too, Jack. I balked at least 4 times deciding to pick it up. I passed, but will have to go back and get a couple. It's a fabulous price. Instead, I yanked one of those $29.99 4RSB's.

What does EW1B go for in OR?

It had been going for $27.45, but sometime recently they dropped it. I'm not sure exactly when that happened; I usually scrutinze the price change sheets pretty closely, but this one got by me.

I only saw the change a couple of weeks ago. I suspect there's still a good bit of 2000 about, so I may go out tomorrow and buy a bottle or two.

Yeah, I like Mink's too. They have had 4RSB at that price for quite some time; I picked up a bottle there many moons ago. Everybody else around here has it for $10 more, but it isn't like I spend all of my free time in liquor stores or anything.

Local store here has had FRSB's at that price for a couple of months now, which is down from it's regular price at $38. I've been pulling them off the shelf one by one. FRSB at its best is one of my favorite pours, regardless of what else I have open on the shelf. Also, I see this bourbon being sold at other stores online at prices upwards of $45 dollars. If that is the future of this label, then I'm going to take advantage of a $30 price tag while I still can.

Where does it list the sale prices? I travel out to Wilmington, NC a few times a year and would love to find what will be on sale while I'm out there!
