Just finished a bottle of plain, ordinary Buffalo Tace. Nothing exotic. Not expensive. Just delicious! Good mouthfeel and lots of flavors that you should not expect to find in $20 bourbon. When I open a bottle of BT, typically I find it OK. By the time I get to the bottom 1/4, it has suddenly become just luscious and I'm looking forward to the next bottle.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
Finished a baby Sazerac rye. It was just ok for me, and I realized that maybe I'm not a true rye junkie. Much preferred the bourbony notes in the Rittenhouse BIB, which also blended better in cocktails (Manhattans) & highballs (ginger beer). After I finish the Ritt (my 2nd bottle), I'm going to try the Willett 4 yr that I just got and see how that compares...
Rip Angels Envy. It took me a while to enjoy you but you came through in the end. Thanks for also getting my wife to start drinking bourbon again. Gives me an excuse to keep the supply a little higher.

I usually have 3 - 5 open at a time. At the moment I have none! This week saw the demise of a Makers 46, wt 101, BT, and a Russel's Reserve.
I said goodbye to a bottle of PVW 15yr last night. I have one more bunkered but will refrain from opening it for as long as possible.
4R SB into the recycler. No recipe listed but tasty. Reinforcements on the way with ten bottles of TPS 4R single barrels on the way. One per recipe.
Everett's ERSB, EH Taylor SB BIB, and a liter of Old Forester DSP 354/414 were all vanquished the past couple of weeks. I'm down to five bottles of bourbon open at the moment.I'm just about ready to open up a few bottles. Having a hard time deciding whether to open a few Wellers, or some Van Winkles.
Leaning towards Van Winkles. Had a nice pour of VWFRR tonight, courtesy of Vosgar.
