In an effort to use up some old fruit, I made a stewed fruit combo
Peeled and cored
2 Kiwi
4 Pear
Boiled for 10 minutes in Medium Sugar Syrup (2:1 H2O:Sugar)
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
2 oz Ginger Liqueur
Vanilla Bean
4 Oz OF 100
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Cayenne
Darned good over Pound Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
