    Good to the last drop?!...

Awright, show of hands - after pouring the last of a bottle into your
glass, does anyone else then tip the bottle upside down and let it sit
for a while to capture that last cap-full (or more!) to savor - especially
with higher priced bottles or dusty favorites?

I don't wanna come off as a total goofball but you'd be surprised how
much remains in the bottle after it is "empty" and I'll be damned if I'm
gonna let that last little bit of Pappy 15 go undrunk! Please tell me
I'm not alone in this pitiful practice.

ha, this is funny because I don't normally, but I just kicked a PVW 15 the other day, and I let it drip until I was sure it was clean and dry!

There's also the old alkie trick of running hot water over the outside of the bottle to help get that last little bit out...

I put the so-called empty bottle in boiling water and breath the vapors.

I have had my tongue surgically altered so I can lick the entire inside of a bottle, so there.

I usually do that or set the bottle on its side to drain a while whether it's expensive or not.

If you give us the name of the surgeon I'd bet we have enough members to negotiate a group rate discount for the procedure.
