My brother has broken a bottle of rum over his head. He's got the scar to prove it.
Breakaway windows are made from sugar. I'm not sure but would guess that the bottles are too. So after you're done playing with them, you can eat the debris.

This is glass or ceramic, also. The "sugar" stuff doesn't last very long and is apparently horrible to work with.
There's an option in the USA. No specific "bourbon" bottle there, though.

Round seems to impart better mouth feel....
