I live in Arlington, Texas, which is spirits-dry. We can buy beer and wine, but no liquor. This means I have to travel about 10-15 miles to reach a liquor store in Pantego, which butts up against Arlington.

Today I made a quick run up to the northwest end of Pantego just to look around for anything new or that I might want to bunker. I took the roundabout way home to stop at the southwest end of Pantego.

On the way home, I was just glancing around, and noticed a brand new liquor store, just inside the Pantego/Arlington boundary. Within five miles from home! Of course, I had to look around. I ended up buying singles of various imported ales and stouts, since I had already finished shopping earlier.

Can I just say, "WHEE! WHOOPEE! HALLELUJAH!" ?
