    Bourbon Molecules

Last week. at the OSU surplus property sale, I picked up a second hand scanning electron microscope for $7. Got it home and, of course, the first thing I wanted to look at was bourbon. Saw some pretty amazing stuff.

Before showing the images, one of basic Ethanol:

The first bourbon I looked at was some Heaven Hill 6/90.

Next was some EC 18. Many say it spends too much time in the barrel.

Took a look at some Johnny Drum. Some say that KBD stuff is just repackaged Heaven Hill juice. Here's PROOF that they're wrong.

Scanned some GTS. It appears that BT uses a post-sales byproduct to bind an additional ethanol molecule.

A look at Jack Black confirmed some suspicions I'd had.

Ever wonder why Fishnbowl Joe likes Weller so much? Well, wonder no more!

I love that linkage on the GTS molecule.

    That's a great discovery!

Where could I find a second hand NMR for sale to confirm that GTS linkage?

Some of you may be wondering, "Where's the malt atom?" The malt atom is what's known as a "free radical". I was told this by a climate scientist at the Ayn Rand Institute, so I'm sure it's true.

Nice, but not nearly as nice as those molecules. They're great!
