    Old Old Overholt

I don't know if qualifies as a dusty find since I didn't find it per se. The Great Aunt of the woman who sold me the 1972 Old Grand-Dad (see the dusty thread) had her call me and ask if I was interested in this old bottle of Old Overholt she had. I said probably but I'd like to come over and see it first.

15 minutes later I'm the new owner of what might be the most pristine bottle of 1945 Old Overholt in existence.

It is no secret that I love that elixir of the gods, bourbon.

I think it's been airbrushed. Great find though.

Not soon. Have a bottle of '57 open now so I'm in no hurry. This might have to wait for my wake in 40 years or so.

Looks new. Wonder where she was keeping it.
