    Bourbon Women

Here's an AP story on the Raleigh, NC news site. I suspect the membership here is largely male, though I know a few women post here fairly regularly. Do any members of this group ever visit straightbourbon.com?

What I've read about the group so far hasn't convinced me to spend $50 to join it (when I could spend it on bourbon!). I suppose the existence of such a group might help let folks know that women drink bourbon too and all marketing needn't be directed at men, just like car companies gradually realized that women buy cars. However, I don't need additional cup holders or a place for my purse when drinking bourbon!

I am going to my first WhiskeyFest in October (SF) and I was wishing I had a bourbon buddy to share it with. It suddenly struck me that none of my girlfriends drink bourbon.

What's the best way to make bourbon buddies?

Leave it to Jack Daniel's to be out there leading the pack from the marketing side. I remember seeing this ad in a December "People" magazine....Uh...of course,...that was....uh....after I finished reading..."Guns and Ammo"!!!, and..and...and... finishing.....my....4 hour cage fighting workout!!!!....and....

I like a woman who drinks bourbon........................................... ...and shares her "People" with me....

Why buy the cow when the milk is free? Consider the Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell arrangement model?...nice!

She's already sounding like a keeper.
