Bought a bottle of this in Va. yesterday. It is aged in sherry barrels. I compared it to regular Canadian Mist and like it a lot. It even makes a nice mixed drink. As an added bonus, it was even on sale!

It's not aged in sherry barrels. It actually has sherry as an ingredient. That's legal in Canada and most Canadian whiskies contain some sherry. Black Diamond just contains more of it than regular Canadian Mist.

Definitely better than regular Canadian Mist. And I actually like it better than Crown Royal Black.
