It seems like a logical conclusion to me that they don't run the wheated mashbill near as often as their two rye mashbills. Maybe someone can help shed a little light on this. So you have one mashbill now accounting for: BTAC WLW, Weller 12, OWA, Weller SR, ORVW 10/90, ORVW 10/107, Lot B, Pappy 15, and maybe Pappy 20 and Pappy 23 as well. Add to that the possibility of not enough available warehouse space, and......... voila'. Limited availabilty!
I know some of this is conjecture on my part, but I don't think I'm too far off in my rationale here. Cheers and happy wheaters to all! Joe

Just another reason for me to write off the whole fiasco.
It would be one thing if it was just hard to find; it's quite another that it's hard to find and only released once a year... to a select few dealers. The whole deal is just bullshit, IMO. I refuse to be part of it.

I'm with Ebo.
If I see some on a shelf, which I probably will at some point, I'll pick up a couple bottles of Old Rip 107. Otherwise, nuts to this. I got better things to do than devote time and money toward a wild goose chase.
I have managed to score all of the PVW in Djibouti! I PM'd Kickert in Swaziland, and he made the camel trip up to the Horn to pick up for me all 7 bottles that were shipped there. I, truly, am great.
