Pappy fall allocation

Happily just scored another 2 bottles of VWFRR today... Both are "B" series.

Up to 6 in total on-hand. I'm starting to breath a little easier now that I've got some good stock in the bunker! Add to that my 4 Saz 18's and 3 Vintage Rye 21's and I'm in good shape for the looming apocalypse (whenever it arrives)!

Question is, when the zombies take over, how will you carry all that damn whiskey around while on the run?

I won't run...too much in the bunker. I'll board up the windows and spend the last days drinking it dry.

P.S. - I thought I had a PVW15 waiting for me today and when I popped into said liquor store, paid for the bottle and they returned to give it to me, all they had was some bad news...

The PVW15 seems to be nonexistent in MI this Fall. Everyone store that I spoke with got shut out. This sucks!

Buy Weller 12 and OWA, mix 1 part OWA & 2 parts W12, sprinkle some sawdust and you'll be pretty close, just off a bit on proof...

Good luck finding it here in Kentucky! Not as easy as you might think despite the fact that it's created here. At least, that's the case here in Lexington.

I should have gotten a handle of it when I had the chance! All I have is a 750ml bottle of it. It's sad that it's so hard to find here in KENTUCKY.
