Anyone try the new SoCo pepper? I bought a bottle and find it quite interesting- and quite hot. The Tabasco sauce is very apparent in it. Seems like it would make an interesting bloody mary.

If you have anything Michter's or Pennco and would like to sell it or share it with me, please let me know.

Suprised the hell out of me to be honest. When it showed up at my door I thought "What the hell is this?" It's surprisingly tasty...and I really don't like that kind of stuff at all.
I'll bring it to the next Georgia Bourbon Society meeting.![]()
This thread prompted me to try it, although I've had it for a couple weeks. I couldn't get the glow-in-the-dark shot glasses to work. But I think the fiery Southern Comfort itself is pretty good. It has the flavor of Tabasco, not just the heat.
I didn't chill it like they recommend.
There was a Tabasco Tequila a few years ago that wasn't very good and didn't get very far.

Chuck, I couldn't get the shot glasses to work either although I'm not too disappointed about that.
The Social Committee of GBS has given great thought to the idea of another meeting of GBS, and particularly to Rich's suggestion to bring the SCP. Serious deliberation, debate, and consultation has taken place. After several hours, it has been determined...Hell yeah! How 'bout in the next month, before Holiday plans, travel, etc begin to get in the way?I ain't never made it, but I could whip up a pot of Burgoo!
