OWA CNB barrel #54. This one didn't impress me at first, but it has opened up nicely over the past month. It is now, dare I say, delicious? Yes, I dare.![]()

If you're gonna be a lamb, you might as well be a sheep.
Could you elaborate a bit. I tried this at CnB about a month ago and went ETL #18 instead. One of the problems with an either or purchase between a rye bourbon anda wheater is that the ryes tend to be better right out of a new bottle. Both of the sample bottles were almost full. I keep thinking about going back for the OWA.
I picked up a cork and bottle OWA a month ago. Same experience for me, the first pour was nothing exceptional, but now it is the one I go to over just about anything else. That includes the PVW 15 and Eagle 17 in the bunker that are getting saved for a special occasion. I got home last night and my wife and her friend were drinking the OWA in some Ale 8. I switched them over to the Angels Envy because I wanted the rest of the OWA for myself! I saw the liter OWA at TPS yesterday for $22. This gets my Best bourbon for the buck award for sure.
