Alright scotch fans... Help a bourbon fan out and let me know if a bottle of Dalmore 21 is worth picking up for $115. A buddy of mine is a Dalmore fan and is debating about having me pick it up for him. See's to be a "dusty"?

To me it ranks up there with Dalmore 28 Stillman's Dram. The finest two Dalmores I've ever tasted. Far superior to the 30 year old Stillman''s Dram. For $115 I'd spring for it. Hard to come by and the cheapest bottle I've ever seen was $90 (Which I scaerfed up immediately).
There's no such thing as bad whiskey, there's only over priced whiskey.
Thainking about it more, I might give a slight edge to the 28, but the 21 is still an excellent value. (I doubt you'll ever see the 28 for anywhere near $115).

I'll echo Stu's comments. The 21 excels beyond the current line up by a noticeable margin. $115 ain't bad either.
Thanks guys. I might go try to see if he wants to deal a little bit...
The best price for the 21 around here (Indy) is $130. $115 sounds like a good deal to me. The Stillman's Dram is around here for $190.
have fun,

Didn't make it back to that store to pick it up. I'm hoping it will be there next quarter as it seems to have been there for years! Hopefully I can find the store again.
