Great pours, but even better fun with longtime friends dining together at Local 3 in ATL, and laughing over stories of many years ago of how we met our brides. I was almost crying in hysterics at times.

5 couples with total married years of 129 years. Pretty amazing these days.

Tonight, it's a few pours of Glenmore Yellowstone Mellow Mash. Of all of the dusties that I've run across, this is most definitely in my top 3 or 4 most favorite whiskies. Just a flavor bombshell from nose to finish.

Some tasty WT Rye, before going out to dinner with some friends, to a friend's BYO restaurant. Dinner saw some decent wines but now home and a small pour of Old Fitz BIB bottled in '84 is like manna from heaven. I know I know, it was glut whiskey and older than four years but if only we still had an affordable wheater with the cotton candy, pecan nut and praline tastes like this. I'm bowing at the S-W altar tonight .

Had a nice pour of Knob Creek Single Barrel last night. An extremely delicious, near barrel-strength bourbon. Much better than the standard Knob Creek offering.

Great brunch. I love how they set everything up in that enormous kitchen that was built back when it was still JOËL. I've heard their chef's table at dinner is a ton of fun too.
