The last few nights it has been anything will less than two drinks left in the bottle. Damn, the recycling garbage men will wonder what fun I had this week when they pick up the glass bin from my curb!

I just took a trip to the recycling bin to check it out empties of

* WL Weller 12 yo
* Old Fitz BIB
* Wathens
* ORVW 10 yo

Can you guess that I am cleaning out the cabinet making room for my next trip to L'ville in 10 days?

For the record, tonight it was a drink of Wathens after dinner and then a drink of ORVW 10 yo just a few minutes ago.

Bill: For the last two years, Randall's has sold the Ezra Brooks S.B. for $15 a bottle during their annual January sale. Let's hope George does it again in 2004!

Hey if you are up for a bit of a road trip, New Hamphire state liquor stores sell Ezra B quite reasonably ($18.99 and no added tax!). I asked at the store in Nashua I went to and they said it is widely availabel across the state.

While we're on an Ezra pricing kick, I must chime in that I observed this past weekend in Seattle that Old Ezra 7yo 107 sells at Washington State LCB stores for $13.95, including all taxes. Old Ezra's a fine bottling to have around at all times!

Bummer, Bill. In one year not so long past, I lost the fuel pump on my Alfa Milano the very week after the extended warranty died. Of course, replacing a fuel pump on an Alfa Milano requires no less than a full day of shop time, so I was not a happy camper.

I'm pouring an Ezra S.B. to you tonight. Hope tomorrow's a better day.

One positive of being in Ohio, the state price on Old Ezra 7/107 is a damn fine $11.95, all taxes included. It is often my everyday pour!!
