Empty Bottle Support Group 2012

Two bad bottles went into the trash yesterday:

Old Overholt (current) - the last 1/3 of the bottle was used kitchen sink cleaner
Old Fitz 1849 (current) - the last 1/3 went into my living bottle

I emptied the last of my EWSB 2001 bottle last night. It sat on the shelf for a long while and I had some stuff I wanted to open, so I set out to finish the bottle up. As I drank more of it, I remembered why I liked it. I think a local store has some of the 2000 left. I think I'll grab a bottle to taste the difference between the vintages.

WSR 7 and a Bookers 127.6 ,the Bookers open well over a year and killed most of the "Beam Funk" last couple of pours from this bottle were quite enjoyable.If you have a couple of years to let it open up/oxidize,not bad but definately not a repeat purchase for me.

Finished off a bottle of OWA single barrel tonight. Delicious final pour.

My tweak on the SB vatting. F'ing amazing, especially with some air time.

* By which I mean: my favorite personally designed vatting. I've tasted the work of The Master so I am not pretending to be anything other than a rank amateur in this department.

Finished yet another Rittenhouse BIB, but it will never be absent from my shelves. I learned a long time ago to keep at least one spare in reserve.
