My beloved Highland Park 12 is now pushing up daisies. At least there's an opportunity for reincarnation with another trip to the state controlled liquor store known as ABC. Hard to believe I didn't have a spare in bunker queue. Sheesh.

My first two bottles ever of ORVW 107 and Lot "B" bit the dust this weekend. Very, very sad to see them empty.

Finished off a bottle of OWA. My favorite of the standard wheaters out there. What do you think of the ORVW vs OWA?

My '11 WLW bit the dust over the weekend (luckily I have a spare thanks to emil!), along with my Casa Noble Reposado and Mount Gay XO. A Willett 5 year rye also passed recently. This does give me the chance to open up a few new bottles, though!

Pretty similar... I get a bit more smooth/sweet out of the ORVW, though. Sometimes, the OWA can have more of a bitter bite than others.

No, this was from a Lexington Liquor Barn. Definitely a wheater though, and quite delicious.
