    Not in my experience. I've found that several budget pours hold up to the expensive ones very well. Sometimes I'm amazed at how good some of the lower shelf offerings are at their price point.

    Though I am certainly not as seasoned as others around here, this sums up my opinions so far as well. Though some may move a favorite down a notch or two, it won't make you like them less.

    Based on reading others, I would think drinking higher PROOF stuff *may* have some affect over time, because those that are partial to higher proof stuff, seem to have much more trouble with the lower proof stuff after a while.
