I picked up a bottle of Compass Box Great King Street in December. I just opened it ip and from the first taste this blend has just blown me away. I will make notes later but this is remarkable Scotch that I suggest you try...

I have always taken note of Compass box in the store and Whisky Fest but have never pulled the trigger so I eagerly await your tasting notes. I know Ralfy mentioned he was going to review one of them this year.
I REALLY like this one, and it's very unusual as well. I get a note, quite heavy as well, of celery in GKS, and this is meant very positive!

I had this and Highland Park 12 in my hand today in the store, and ended up with the HP12. I don't regret it, but I am wishing I had the budget to snag both.

Picked up a bottle yesterday. Have to say it's the best blend I've ever had in that price range.
I ended up buying a 375 of it for just over $20 out the door, and it's already gone. It's a terrific scotch. Extremely flavorful, rich and sweet.
I'd love to do a tasting of it against, say, Glenmorangie The Original, which is another non-peated scotch (though it is SMS) that I like that is in the same price range.
