    Show off your home bar

It looks like it has been a while since this has been done. (somebody will undoubtedly prove me wrong)

Anyway, for those lucky enough to have a Bourbon Den, Man Cave, or home bar; pony up some pics.

The rest of us could use some motivation to get moving and build our own.

    Here's one:

And here's what's below the bar:

The rest is in boxes or in storage.

Wow, mrviogner, that is a seriously impressive rye collection. Is that a High West 12 tucked in there? I was never been able to get one and I hear it is now all gone. I absolutely love the 16 and I would be curious to hear your thoughts on how the 12 compares.

The 12 year IS pretty special. We were only able to get five barrels of this one-of-a-kind LDI rye. It's 95% rye with 5% malted rye. Lots of cinnamon, spice, and dried fruits. The 16 year is 80% rye with 10% each corn and malted barley. Still very much a spicy, rye-laden joy, the 16 shows a bit more barrel char.

Both the 12 and 16 are, sadly, long gone...we have no more bottles at the distillery. There's still some out in the market, but it's getting snatched up by fans.

Good thread. I'm probably 2-3 years away from a move, and we're likely to build. I've already started campaigning for a basement bar. Hopefully some good pics will encourage the wife.

I'm allowed a bourbon corner in the den. Also got a closet to store extras. The bears belong to my wife and on top is my Hard Rock Cafe pin collection.

Here are some pictures of the basement bar from a couple years ago...a few things have been have been added since then but I'm too lazy to take new shots.

Well, mine isn't nearly as epic as in some of the previous posts (nor is it as well stocked as it has previously been). But here it is:

Unfortunately that's not actually a bunch of bottles of Caymus in the Caymus box.

Ah, but what you may lack in quantity, you make up in quality. All of those are superb whiskies.
