Glad you like our interactive website at www.archaeology.org - Distilling the Past. I invite all Straight Bourbon readers to visit the website and follow along as we begin to understand this enormous distillery operated by Washington at Mount Vernon. The excavation of Washington's Distillery continues to get media coverage since our media event two weeks ago.

If you're in the Northern Virginia area the site is open to the public Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 - 4:00, weather permitting.
