More fruit than the regular OWA, excellent balance, long biting finish.

I completely agree. I couldn't quite put my finger on it until I went out with friends tonight and someone ordered a cranberry cider. I noticed a surprising similarity between the cider and CnB OWA 60. Very fruity.

Opened a dark wood top (w/turkey logo) WTKS from 2006. I've never tasted a pewter top WTKS, but in isolation, this one is very enjoyable. It's straightforward -- dry, woody, not much on the nose -- but still rich and tasty. It's more to my liking than the light wood top WTKS I've sampled.

Went to Keylime Cove with the kids and another family for the weekend and I brought with bottles of 2009 Pappy 15, Pappy 20, Old Fitz Prime 6/86 1984, and Old Weller Special Reserve 7/90 from 1977...we opened them all and drank well this weekend!

On deck to replace a few recently emptied bottles are; OWA, Weller SR, Weller 12, J T S Brown BIB, 1980 ND Old Taylor 80 proof, and a private bottling of BT from Minnesota.

EWSB 2000. First time I've tried it, and I was very impressed. I think its one of the best pours I've had at less that $25 a bottle.

Opened my first (and hopefully not last) bottle of the PHC 5th edition. After enjoying half the pour I decided to see what JH had to say about it in Whisky Advocate. I found myself mostly in agreement. Particularly the part about it being "perilously drinkable."
