OWA 7, EW 7, VSOF. While I'm definitely a devotee of BT's wheaters, I've found that the best way to appreciate VSOF is to put it up against a standard HH bottle, like EW or EC. It's much more interesting to pick out the HH qualities while noticing the differences made by the wheated mashbill.

Between the wedding and leaving for dinner we enjoyed a beautiful pour of a 64/71 Old Weller, the Original 107. In my opinion, this is better than any whiskey on the market today.

Congrats Clingman. Sounds like quite a day!!!!

You and your bride have been blessed with some great Ga coast weather. One of the prettiest places on earth: The live oaks and Spanish moss speak of natural grace, beauty and elegance. Only caution is watch out for the bugs. They can get narly. Drinking bourbon, or beer, is not much of a repellant: I've tried.

We are enjoying this beautiful weather just south of you: between Savannah and Brunswick in the little village of Shellman Bluff. Gearing up for a day on the boat. Heading out to Blackbeard Island later this morning: can only get there by boat.

Enjoy Savannah and the great food and ambience.
