Just had and awesome lunch at Beachwood BBQ and Brewing. Was there to celebrate the 1st anniversary of their brewery. Have to admit I didn't like their anniversary Triple IPA, but all the other stuff was so so great. Was able to try Alpine's Duet IPA (like a Pliny light, a good thing), there was a special keg of a 2006 Stone Bourbon Barrel aged IRS (also good, like molasas), Pizza Port's Poor Man's DIPA (nice bitter hops), and finished with one of Beachwood's finest I've ever had. Called System of a Stout, Julian went kind of crazy and brewed with cardamom, molasses, coffee, and brandy soaked oak chips. Sounds wild, but is so nice!

Had a Yuengling Premium at dusk in the neighbor's pool. Not bad, but could have been better. My instructions of "hey bring me a beer" probably could have been more specific.
Since the 4th, I have been working on a case of good old Budweiser.

Boulevard sampler from Kansas City. I worked my way through half the twelve pack last night and their Pale Ale and IPA are quite fine, though the Boulveard Irish Ale didn't do a whole lot for me. Will check out the rest this afternoon while watching baseball.

A bottle of Chimay Blue on a boring and oppressively hot Sunday. Nothing else to do, may as well drink!
Enjoying a much needed rain with a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale.
DFH Positive Contact today and is was tasty.
